Dave Burnett – Managing Director

Dave started his motor industry career in 1988 working for Skippers Ford, Burnley as a used car salesman. (He still reminisces now about the good old days and has even kept all his old working diaries!) He then saw an opportunity within the local Peugeot network where he progressed into Dealer Management. Dave spent 15 years as Sales Manager, Dealer Principle and then moved to Fleet Sales Manager for the Perrys Peugeot network before starting his own venture, Dave Burnett Vehicle Solutions Ltd.
 

Helen Burnett – Company Secretary / Accounts

Helen joined Yorkshire Bank as a school leaver in 1988 and has worked for them for the last 20 years. After working within various local branches, she began to seek a more challenging role and progressed to the Business Banking Unit 9 years ago. As well as being a busy lady in her banking career, Helen serves as Company Secretary and takes care of our accounting department.

Julian Smith – Commercial Vehicle Sales

Julian began his motor trade career in 1990 when he first qualified as a City and Guilds Motor Mechanic. He moved into Commercial Vehicle Sales in 1993 working for JD Renault Trucks. In a short period of time Julian moved through the ranks to Sales Director, responsible for 4 dealerships across the North of England. He now heads the Commercial Sales department of Dave Burnett Vehicles

Michelle Butschok – Office Administrator

Michelle began her motor industry career back in 1992 when as a college leaver she began working for Leasing Options Ltd, in Manchester as an administrator. (I know, she doesn’t look old enough to have been working for 19 years!) She worked her way up through the ranks to eventually become Office Manager. In 2009 she left after having had a baby to work closer to home and joined Dave Burnett Vehicles. Michelle ensures the smooth day to day running of the office and is there to make sure your experience dealing with us is as efficient and hassle-free as possible. (She also makes far too many cups of tea for Dave Burnett!)
 
 

Damian Thornton – Sales Manager

Damian began his Motor Industry career in 2004 when he joined a large dealer group as a Sales Consultant. He worked in the Used Car Department supplying vehicles to local customers until furthering his knowledge by moving into New Vehicle sales. Once established, Damian sought to increase his skill set by venturing into the Prestige Market with BMW UK. Moving forward in his career, Contact Hire and Leasing became his new area of expertise and has worked within this sector for the last 4 years.
